Our Lady of Peace is part of the Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Healthcare system. We are one of the largest private, not-for-profit psychiatric hospitals in the country. We offer a full continuum of psychiatric treatment including inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
Our experienced staff is trained to address an array of emotional / behavioral / psychiatric disorders, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain, grief and loss, chemical dependencies, etc.
In addition, Our Lady of Peace offers innovative treatment alternatives for children and adolescents with legal charges, violence and aggression, developmental disabilities, brain injuries and related conditions.
Required Experience:
This position is responsible for a multitude of functions that must be performed with minimal direction from direct supervisor. Provides support to the facility Risk Manager/Patient Safety Officer. Reviews data, investigates patient safety events and allegations of abuse and initiates patient safety audits.
This position requires a current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The position also requires a minimum of three years of experience in a psychiatric setting or a Bachelor's Degree in a related health field.
Candidates for this position must have strong organizational and communication skills, certification in Basic Life Support, be able to complete Safe Crisis Management training, and perform Safe Crisis Management techniques.
