Our Lady of Peace, a service of Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s HealthCare, was opened in 1951 and is one of the largest private, non-profit psychiatric facilities in the country. We treat patients with emotional/behavioral/psychiatric disorders and/or chemical dependencies. The modern facility, with specialized units consisting of private and semi-private rooms and program areas, offers short-term acute/semi-acute care programs for children, adolescents and adults. Also available are the treatment alternatives such as Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Our Lady of Peace staff is a team made up of physicians, psychologists, skilled nursing personnel, social workers, chaplains, counselors, recreation therapists, expressive therapists and certified teachers. Required Experience:
This position is responsible for providing direct clinical services to child, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patients utilizing art and other expressive therapies to address interpersonal issues that cause emotional distress. These include art therapy, expressive therapy, individual art or expressive therapy; if certified, juvenile sexual offender therapy; if credentialed, play therapy or EMDR and/or psychoeducation. Modalities utilized are based on clinical need of the patient/population and the experience and skills of the individual therapist.

Required:
Masters Degree in Art Therapy or Expressive Therapy with clinical field work with adult and/or child/adolescent populations. Minimum one year experience in working with adult and/or child/adolescent populations in a clinical psychiatric setting preferred. Certification with sanctioning board of Art Therapy/Expressive Therapy or working toward certification.
